Schema.org data
Schema.org data is code inside a web page that tells search engines and AI tools what the page is: a news article, published by this company, on this date, quoting this person. Visitors do not see it. Machines read it.
What AI needs
Clear answers to "what is this, who published it, and when?" without guessing from the layout. Schema.org data gives those answers in a standard format.
Why most releases miss it
Many release pages carry only basic page tags, or data about the site that hosts them, not about the company in the news. Some have none at all.
How an LP release covers it
Every LivePublicator release carries NewsArticle data, with the company as an Organization and the quoted speaker as a Person, plus FAQPage data for the Q&A.
Check it yourself
Every release has a Verification box with "Check structured data" links to the Google Rich Results Test and the Schema.org Validator. One click runs the test on that page.
Questions
Do I need to add code?
No. It is added to every release automatically.
Which types are included?
NewsArticle, Organization, Person and FAQPage. An Enhanced company page adds more: your team as Person entries, your press contact and an FAQ.
Does schema data change rankings?
Not by itself. It helps machines read the page correctly. You can check it is valid with the links on every release.
