Who is responsible

Buzz Dealer (Cyprus) Ltd (registration number HE440718), Agias Filaxeos 122A, Limassol 3087, Cyprus, is the data controller: it decides how your personal data is used. Contact: support@livepublicator.com.

What we collect

• Your website address and what our tools read on its public pages.
• Your email address and name when you give them to us (AI check report, draft, order, contact form, partner application).
• What you write in forms and drafts, and your releases.
• Orders and payments (Stripe keeps the card details; we never see your card number).
• Technical data: a keyed hash of your IP address for abuse limits. With an order, your IP address and browser details (user agent), to check for payment fraud and to measure our ads. Analytics and advertising cookies, as the Cookies section below explains.

Why we use it

• To run the service you asked for (checks, drafts, publishing, reports, emails about your order).
• To keep the service safe (bot checks, rate limits, content review).
• To send you tips and reminders about your check or draft; every such email has an unsubscribe link.
• We send these emails only if you tick the box that says you agree to get them, and you can stop them any time.
• To measure our ads and improve the site, only with your consent.
• LivePublicator is run by Buzz Dealer. Buzz Dealer may use your check and order data for one personal follow-up about its hands-on reputation services. You can reply to stop it, and it uses the same unsubscribe as our other emails.

Who helps us (processors)

• These companies process data for us, only to run the service:
• Stripe: payments. Resend: sending email. DigitalOcean: our servers and storage. Cloudflare: security, bot checks and delivering the site. Anthropic: AI writing and content checks. OpenAI: ChatGPT answers in AI checks, and AI images. Google: Gemini and Google AI Overviews answers in AI checks, the Web Risk safety check, and Google Analytics and Google Ads (only with your consent). Perplexity: Perplexity answers in AI checks. DataForSEO: search results for AI checks. PostHog: product analytics (US servers). Sentry: error reports. Meta: ad measurement (in the EU, the EEA, the UK and Switzerland only with your consent; elsewhere you can turn it off, see Cookies). X (Twitter): ad measurement (only with your consent), and posting new releases on our X account. Spamhaus: checks that a website or email domain is not on a spam or abuse list. Our operator, Buzz Dealer LTD: AI visibility audits of the agency websites we contact (its Atom service). The home page shows badges from sites that list us (LaunchBuff, PostYourStartup, LaunchNest, PeerPush and AffyList). Your browser loads each badge image from that site.
• Some are in the United States; transfers rely on Standard Contractual Clauses, and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified.

AI assistants (connector)

• You can connect an AI assistant, such as Claude or ChatGPT, to LivePublicator. You sign in on our site and choose what it may do.
• What we receive: only what the assistant sends to our tools. That is the release content (headline, text, key facts, quote and the quoted person's name and role, questions and answers, press contact, company name and website, image) and, once you sign in, your account email. We do not receive or use your other chats. We use what we receive only to run the tool you asked for: check, preview, publish, fix or report on your release.
• What we keep and for how long: your releases and drafts as with any release on the site (published releases stay public until removed). Free previews made without signing in, 7 days. The assistant's sign-in, stored only as a hashed token, until you disconnect it or 90 days after its last use. A log of each tool call (which tool, which account, the result, the time and a keyed hash of the IP address) for security and support, 12 months.
• Who else is involved: the processors listed above (for example our servers, email and content check). The assistant's maker (such as Anthropic or OpenAI) handles your chat under its own privacy policy.
• You can disconnect an assistant any time in your account, which ends its access at once. Questions: support@livepublicator.com.

What is public

Published releases are public, including the names, quotes and media contact details you put in them.

Cookies

• Needed to run the site (always on): your sign-in (__Host-lp_session, 30 days), a sign-in link you just opened (__Host-lp_signin, 1 hour), your draft (lpd_..., 60 days), a one-time offer after you pay (lpo_..., 30 minutes), your cookie choice (lp_consent, 1 year), your cookie region (lp_region, until you close the browser), and Cloudflare's bot check. Outside the EU, the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, or after you accept: which version of a page you saw (lp_sv, 60 days) and the first page you landed on (lp_land, 30 days), to compare our pages. Our staff only: lp_staff and lp_preview, which keep staff visits out of our numbers.
• In the EU, the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, nothing below is set until you tap "Accept". Everywhere else, the Meta pixel (_fbp, _fbc) runs when the page opens, so Meta can count visits from its ads. Tap "No thanks" on the cookie notice to turn it off. Everything else below still waits for "OK".
• Only if you accept cookies ("Accept" or "OK"): the ad tags you arrived with (lp_utm, 90 days), a Google Ads click id (lp_gclid, 90 days), a partner link you followed (lp_ref and lp_ref_sub, 60 days), PostHog analytics (ph_...), Google Analytics and Google Ads (_ga, _gcl_...), Meta (_fbp, _fbc) in the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland, and the X (Twitter) Ads pixel (an X Ads click id, lp_twclid, 90 days, and X's own cookies such as _twclid, muc_ads and personalization_id).
• If you tap "Only necessary" or "No thanks", a partner code or ad tag you arrived with stays only in the page address during that visit, and nothing from the lists above is saved in your browser.

How long we keep it

• Drafts that are never published expire after 30 days: the draft link stops working and we stop emailing about it. 12 months after a draft expires, we delete it for good, with its text, images and preview. If you gave us your email but never bought anything, we delete or anonymize your details 36 months after your last activity (for example a free check, a sign-in or an email you opened). We keep only the address on our unsubscribe list, so we never email you again. Account, order, release and invoice records are kept for 6 years, as tax law requires, even after you close your account.
• IP addresses and browser details (user agent) are deleted after 90 days. Rate-limit data is deleted after 2 days. Records of our background tasks are deleted 30 days after they finish. Files an agency sends us to import are deleted 30 days after the releases are published. Messages you send us through a form on our website are kept so we can answer you, for 24 months after the last message, and deleted when you close your account.
• If you unsubscribe, we keep your address on our do-not-email list for good, so we never email you by mistake.

Your rights

You can download your data and close your account from your account page, or write to support@livepublicator.com. When you close your account, you can't sign in and we stop all emails, but we keep the records above for as long as the law requires. You can also object, ask for corrections, and complain to a data protection authority. In Cyprus that is the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection (dataprotection.gov.cy).
