Add LivePublicator to your assistant once with this address: https://livepublicator.com/api/mcp. Then sign in with your email when it asks.
Set it up

- ChatGPT: Settings, Apps, turn on developer mode, then Create app. Paste the address and sign in.

Fixes
The sign-in email didn't arrive
Wait two minutes and check your spam or junk folder. The email comes from LivePublicator with the subject "Your sign-in link". The link works once, for 30 minutes, so open it in the same browser where you started. Still nothing? Start the sign-in again from your assistant, or write to us.
My assistant says it isn't connected
Sign-ins last up to 90 days, and you may have disconnected the assistant in your account. In Claude, open Settings, Connectors, LivePublicator, set Authentication to Sign in now, and choose Connect. In ChatGPT, open the app in Settings, Apps, and sign in again. In Claude Code, run /mcp and choose LivePublicator to sign in. Previews still work without signing in.
My release says "held for review"
A person checks some releases before they go live: when you signed in with Gmail or another address that is not on your company's website, the first releases of an agency, and a few at random. It takes up to 24 hours, and you get an email when it is live. To skip this for a company account, confirm a work email once in your account under Credits.
It says I have no credits
Publishing uses 1 credit per release. Previews are free. Buy credits in your account under Credits, then ask your assistant to publish again. A release we do not publish gives its credit back.
My image was not accepted
Images must be landscape (wider than tall), at least 1200 px wide, and a JPEG, PNG or WebP file up to 5 MB. Send a public https link, attach the file in the chat if your assistant supports it, or use the one-time upload link your assistant gives you. No image is fine: we show a simple cover with your logo and headline.
How do I fix a typo after it went live?
For 24 hours after a release goes live, ask your assistant to fix the text (for example: "Fix the typo in the second paragraph of today's press release"). You can also edit it in your account. After 24 hours, write to us.
How do I disconnect an assistant?
Open your account, then Credits. Under "Connect your AI assistant" you see each connected assistant and when it was last used. Choose Disconnect. It can't publish or read your releases until you sign in again. You can also remove LivePublicator in the assistant's own settings.
Still stuck?
Write to support@livepublicator.com with the email you signed in with and what your assistant said.
