Samantha Rae: Rising New England Pop-Country Singer-Songwriter

Samantha Rae, a native New England pop-country singer-songwriter, has been nominated for two regional music awards in 2026. She is up for Country Artist of the Year at the 2026 Boston Music Awards and Country Act of the Year at the 2026 New England Music Awards. In 2025, as a first-time nominee, she won the Boston Music Awards' Country Artist of the Year honor, marking a significant milestone in her independent music career. She was also recognized in Nashville in 2026 with four nominations at the Josie Music Awards, held at the historic Grand Ole Opry House.

Samantha co-writes and produces her music in her home studio alongside long-time creative partner Jay DellIsola. Together, they have expanded their production expertise through years of creative visits and studio sessions at the world-renowned Abbey Road Studios in London, while remaining committed to creating music that reflects their artistic vision and musical roots.

Most recently, the duo traveled to West Saugerties, New York, where they spent a week writing new material and recording remotely while immersed in the creative atmosphere of Big Pink, the modest home made famous by Bob Dylan and The Band. The property's legendary basement served as the recording site for Dylan's influential Basement Tapes sessions and helped inspire the roots-rock sound heard on Music From Big Pink, an album widely credited with helping shape the musical style now known as Americana.

Drawing inspiration from these experiences while staying grounded in their New England roots, Samantha and Jay continue to develop a sound that blends country, rock, early R&B, and soul influences into music that is both contemporary and deeply authentic.

Samantha's momentum on stage has matched her success in the studio. She recently opened for country superstar Cole Swindell before a sold-out audience at the Premier Theater at Foxwoods Resort Casino in Mashantucket, Connecticut, further showcasing her growing appeal among country music audiences throughout the Northeast and beyond.
