weRoundUp, Inc. is opening early access to its chat-based gifting app in December 2026. The company is starting with a small number of groups and sending invitations in waves to people on its waitlist. Buyers are in the United States at launch, and gift recipients can be in many countries.

Inside the app, people can send a gift card, airtime or a data bundle as a message, so it lands in the chat instead of an inbox. Groups can also start a group gift for a birthday or another occasion, where everyone picks their own gift and pays for it themselves, and the group sees every gift gathered in one place. People can keep a short wishlist of brands and share it with the ones they choose. Gift cards cover categories people spend on every week, and the full brand list will be published when the app opens. The group chat stays after the gift, so the same people can give again next time without setting anything up again.

"Gifting is human nature. People have always given to show someone they care, and the best gifts are the ones that show you know the person. We built weRoundUp so the gift stays in the conversation, and so it feels like it came from someone who knows you."
Moses Amedonu, Founder, weRoundUp

The company describes it as bringing that giving into the chat people already use, with everything happening inside the thread. Features in development are not yet available and may vary by location. Emmanuel Nsowah who grew up in Ghana, West Africa. weRoundUp states it is not a round-up savings app, and that brand names and logos shown belong to their owners, with no affiliation or endorsement implied.

People who want an invitation can join the waitlist at weroundup.co and will receive one email when their turn comes.
