Questions
Who should publish the partnership release?
Either partner, or both on the same day with the same facts. Agree on the text first.
Do both companies need to approve it?
Yes. Each partner should approve its name, its quote and every fact about it.
Can a sponsorship be announced this way?
Yes. Say what is sponsored, for how long, and what the sponsor provides.
What if the deal is small?
Focus on what customers can now do. A small deal with a clear benefit is still news.
How long should a partnership release be?
About 400 to 500 words. The two About sections make it a little longer than most releases.
